LISA POSLUN - ANOTHER VICTIM OF LAX IMMIGRATION LAWS?
On November 3, 2002, real estate agent Lisa Poslun was
raped and murdered while working late in her Yorkdale
office. See link below for more on the murder.

The jury in the trial of Nelson DeJesus for the murder was
sequestered today so the public is finally allowed to hear
about his long history of violent crime. It's a history
involving rape, robbery and the use of handcuffs and knives
while committing his crimes just as in the Lisa Poslun murder.
DeJesus is now 36 years old. His crimes in Canada go back,
at least, to 1992 when he was about 22 years old.
News reports have yet to say how DeJesus came to be in this
country where he could prey on Canadians like Lisa Poslun but
it will come as no surprise if this particular murderer is
another of the many immigrant criminals Ottawa has let into
this our country.
Details of his criminal history and perhaps his immigration
status should be available in the print media tomorrow.

-- and foreign crooks know it. Under the Charter of
Rights and Freedoms, anyone who arrives claiming to
be a refugee has the same legal rights as any
Canadian. That can mean a lengthy sequence of
hearings and appeals, while the newcomer remains
in Canada, living on social benefits ... or crime."

Accused killer left his DNA at scene
crown: Murder trial opens: Prosecutor lays out case against janitor in
Yorkville slaying
Peter Brieger
National Post
Wednesday, January 18, 2006
The trial of the man charged with killing Yorkville commercial real estate
broker Lisa Posluns three years ago began yesterday with the prosecutor
describing the Crown's scientific case against the accused as "very powerful
evidence of his presence" at the crime scene.
At the opening of the first-degree murder trial of Nelson DeJesus, 36, Susan
Orlando told a jury of three women and nine men assembled in a Toronto
courtroom that, "what is exceptional about this case is that Nelson DeJesus
left behind his DNA."
Not only was the accused's saliva and semen found on the victim's underwear
and jeans, Ms. Orlando said, but the 38-year-old woman's own genetic markers
were present inside a knife sheath and handcuffs found on Mr. DeJesus when he
was arrested in March, 2003 -- after he led police on a foot chase when they
arrived at his Toronto home.
That was about four months after Ms. Posluns' body was found in a storage
room at her office building, lying in a pool of her blood from seven stab
wounds and a slit across her throat.
The office is nestled squarely in the heart of Toronto's tony retail
district, prompting media at the time to dub her death the Yorkville Murder.
Speaking to the jury, Ms. Orlando said forensic scientists pegged the
likelihood that it was not Ms. Posluns' DNA on Mr. DeJesus's handcuffs as a
statistically impossible one in three trillion.
For any jurors who may wonder if Mr. DeJesus and Ms. Posluns -- an estranged
member of the Dylex retailing empire -- were engaged in a consensual sexual
relationship, perhaps involving restraining devices such as handcuffs, Ms.
Orlando sought to disavow those questions, too.
The accused man's shoe left a print in the victim's blood at the crime scene,
and he called her office on at least five occasions outside of regular hours
-- blocking his number several times -- to check whether the "workaholic" was
working late in the months before her murder, Ms. Orlando told the jury.
But in an interview with police after he was arrested, Mr. DeJesus -- a
cleaner at the building who sometimes tidied up the victim's fifth-floor
office -- denied killing Ms. Posluns, or even knowing the victim beyond an
occasional greeting in the building.
"Nelson DeJesus had no reason to call [the victim]," Ms. Orlando said. "He
was trying to figure out the right time to execute his plan to sexually
assault and murder her."
Witnesses at the trial, which is expected to last about two months, had also
seen Mr. DeJesus loitering around the building's lobby when he wasn't
working, and he lied to other cleaning staff when each of them offered up
reasons they couldn't have committed the murder, Ms. Orlando said.
Mr. DeJesus said he was working at Mississauga's Square One shopping mall
when Ms. Posluns died on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2002 -- a claim later exposed as a
"lie," Ms. Orlando warned.
Also, as a janitor, Mr. DeJesus was "intimately" familiar with the building's
layout and the quickest way to a "remote" first-floor utility room where Ms.
Posluns' life was cut short, the Crown prosecutor said.
Investigators believe Mr. DeJesus attacked Ms. Posluns in the hallway as she
was about to lock up the office and go home to make a nightly call to her
mother, which never came.
"In that lonely hallway outside her office, Lisa Posluns' life took a tragic
turn -- Lisa Posluns was not alone in that hallway," Ms. Orlando said.
Leading the woman downstairs, Mr. DeJesus sexually assaulted Ms. Posluns who
-- as the victim's torn and hastily arranged clothing suggests -- was trying
to get dressed before her attacker repeatedly plunged a knife into her body.
She was dragged into the utility room where Mr. DeJesus ended the woman's
life with a slash across her throat, Ms. Orlando said.
The man's former boss will testify Mr. DeJesus knew of the room and its
"faulty lock," which could be opened with a solid nudge, she added.
"That is where she succumbed to her injuries, alone in a small, dark utility
room where no one could come to her aid," Ms. Orlando said.
Mr. DeJesus then made his escape through a one-way exit door that empties
into what would have been a near-deserted parking lot that Saturday night,
the Crown lawyer added.
The trial continues today.

There's no evidence that he's even an immigrant.
Was Willy Pickton, Paul Bernardo or Clifford Olsen immigrants?
NOPE.
Go back to fucking children, you dirty right wing pedophile. You don't
belong in Canada, you right wing neo-nazi piece of shit. Your birthright is
meaningless because the hatred you promote shows that all you're deserving of
is a rifle butt in the back of the head.
