The results from a recent Gallup poll in the US ranking honesty and
ethical standards by profession*:

* Nurses (79%)
* Druggists, pharmacists (72%)
* Military officers (72%)
* Medical doctors (67%)
* Police officers (60%)
* Clergy (56%)
* Judges (53%)
* Day care providers (49%)
* Bankers (36%)
* Auto mechanics (26%)
* Local officeholders (26%)
* Nursing home operators (24%)
* State officeholders (24%)
* TV reporters (23%)
* Newspaper reporters (21%)
* Business executives (20%)
* Lawyers (18%)
* Congressmen (10%)
* Advertising practitioners (10%)
* Car salesmen (9%)

*note for Terry Pearson: while the list does not include t-shirt sales
as a profession it would be safe to rank yourself in with the car salesmen

SHIT It must be an accurate poll: I don't see McGuinty's name anywhere!!!!!


I am number 3. Not many male nurses, and we are tied with the druggists for
second so we're pretty much top o the heap!!!!!

I personally think they screwed up on me. (O:

Hey the poll was about honesty not intelligence. If it was the join of the
sets honesty AND intelligence the results would be much different.

It's a pity that there are no laborers on the poll. I guess all us
blue-collar working stiffs are as crooked as a barrel of fish hooks.....
