Why Capitalism In China Is Doing Much Better Than Todau In The Current U.S.

China appears to be far less corrupt than that of the U.S. with its
Barny Franks, Chris Dodds, Charley Rangels
and Barack Obama's Chicago mafia.
Also China has no obstructionist anti-capitalist unions to protest,
cause disruptive strikes, demand protectionsim and become special
interest lobby groups corrupting politicians as in the U.S. Also there
are
no quasi politiccal organizations like the NEA, Acorn, the SEIU, ACLU
obstructing and dragging down the
business world. The late, great laissez-faire U.S. president, Calvin
Coolidge once correctly stated that "the
business of government is business. This idea seems to have taken hold
in China but in the current U.S.
the businesss of government appears to be "imposing social justice"
and redistributing wealth.
Another big advantage China appears to have over the U.S. is that it
has no lawyers, at least litigation lawyers.
It obviously has experts in commercial law as China has become a free-
trading, capitalist nation. This is a
big advantage. If Adam Smith were alive today he would be praising
China, in spite of its lack of demcoracy.
Of course, when Smith wrote his great book Wealth of Nations Great
Britain and his native Scotland were
not democracies either.

Very true, Barry. Another point: the state owns most of the land and
leases it longterm to farmers and businesspeople. There are no
"private property" rights as we understand them in the West. If this
is what Crap Detector considers "capitalism", he should hit the books
again.

No Marxist government like that of Cuba or North Korea has a stock
market as China has. And China is for free-trade. Its companies
and citizens make investment and capital transactions with other
nations.

$25 dollars an ounce So much for citizens' rights in a "liberal"
democracy.
