Military Brats - Germany

[Rasta]

Hi, maybe this crosses the newsgroups that don't deal with subjects like
this, but we have limited Newsgroups in Halifax that everyone might
read, so I am posting this to Each.

I wish to find Former Brats, particularly from Germany, during any years
when they were posted there with a Military Parent. I, myself, was in
Soest, Germany from 1969-1970, and from 1970 to 1972 in Baden Solingen,
Germany. Many others I have been in touch with, came from Lahr, and
there are several Brat Pages, Lahr and Baden Pages. Contact me for more
information. I also was in Calgary, just after this year's Brat Reunion,
Aug 1997. We are planning a smaller form, of the local group of those
that were there. Some may know us, some may just share the experience.

Yes, Michael J. Fox is really a brat. In fact he lived in PMQ's in
North Bay, Madelena Drive I believe, and left just shortly before I got
there in '77.

Yes, it appears to be true.
Another famous brat I keep forgetting about was/is Angela Chalmers long
distance runner and Olympian (just don't ask me how many medals she has won).

I should have known better :)
Actually I think she won numerous medals in Canada Games & Commonwealth Games
but never did well in Olympic competition

I'll spend countless hours just to research it for you :)

When was she in Germany? I remember a few girls who were into
track/swimming but i think their name ws chalmBers so it could be someone
else...

Likely wasn't in Germany. Sorry I forgot to change the topic.
She had a older sister Marg, she ran too but I don't think she was a
successful.
