Hi, Rick. I was in 3 Wing from 1967 to 1969, then Lahr from 1969 to
1970. My husband was in Metz from 1966 to 1967, then Lahr from 1967
to 1971. We both attended Lahr senior high. I spent most of my life
at either CYC or Carl's. Didn't you love the bathrooms at The Old
Man's? Remember Gail Johnson from CYC? She left there just a few
years ago. Did you ever go to that chicken place just off
Marketstrasse and get a half chicken and fries with mayonnaise?
Wonderful stuff! Remember the Vice Principal Don Taylor?
Unfortunately, he died a few years ago. Mr. Greenwood is still alive
and kicking, though!

I'm in touch with a whole bunch of ex-Lahr brats from the mid 60's to
early 70's (ie.Steve Buckles, Sue Cecil, Tony Bampfield, Cheryl
Normand, Lynn Ross, Tina & Don Skalozub, Darlene,Donna & Allan Betts,
Terry Blake, Lisa Ronaasen, Ian Cassels, Sandy & Sherry Detweiller,
Katrina Stevenson, Daryl Finnegan, Barb Ritchie, Terry Hore, Doreen
Johnston, Ken Hilscher, Debbie & Joann Tustin, Jack MacAskill,
Geoff Nash, Sue & Alan Try, etc.) I'm helping organize a Europe
reunion (I believe you've e-mailed me about it already) in the summer
of 1997. If you're interested in swapping swell stories with other
Lahr brats, keep in touch. Hope to see you in Calgary in 1997, where
we'll make you so homesick for Germany you'll cry in your Parkbrau!

PS-Are you the same Rick Howe that was in St. Hubert with me in Mr.
Kool's grade 6 class with Scott Cameron?
