Title: Sr Mechanical Engineer Oil & Gas
Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Position Description: The Position of Senior Mechanical Engineer carries the
following responsibilities: · Supervising the various activities in the
mechanical design of a project consisting of several complex process units ·
Provision of comprehensive engineering and design services by establishing
the design criteria and implementing the preparation of specification,
calculations, drawings and other project documentation · Resource planning
and allocation for project activities · Obtain, interpret and execute Client
expectations for project success
Education and Experience: · Mechanical engineering degree or masters · PEO
registered or available · 10 to 15 years of related experience · Proven
track record in mechanical engineering lead position
Skills required: · Strong interpersonal and leadership skills · Client
relationship management skills · Effective communication both oral and
written · Pressure vessel design to ASME Section VIII Division I and II ·
Heat exchanges TEMA/Plate & Frame/Fired heaters and boilers · Rotating
equipment (pumps and compressors) design and specification
Some travel will be required, however the majority of the design work will
be completed in the Toronto office. Candidate may also be considered for
Assistant Department Manager duties.
