The Company
Boulangerie Lanthier Bakery Ltd./ltee, a family business for 70 years and
currently in full expansion, is a manufacturer and distributor of commercial
bakery products under the BETTY brand trademark. Lanthier currently services
Western Quebec, and all of Eastern and Central Ontario and owns and operates
2 manufacturing plants - one in Baie d'Urfe, Quebec and the other in
Alexandria, Ontario.
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking dynamic individuals for various territories
including Ottawa-Hull and Cornwall.
As a Route Sales Representative you will be responsible for selling and
distributing our bakery products and providing a full service to your
customers. You will have complete responsibility for your specific territory
and your main responsibilities will include:
. The development of existing and potential clientele, . Order management, .
Merchandising and restocking, . Inventory management, and . Invoicing.
This position is ideal for early birds as you will be required to start your
day by 6 am.
Compensation
To start you will receive a competitive compensation package with income
potential in the $40K to $60K range. You will receive a guaranteed daily
rate and use of a new company supplied cube van, and once proven you will
advance to a base plus commission package. Of course with success comes
greater rewards, and all successful representatives have the potential to
become independent contractors where earnings potential is up to $110K
annually.
Qualifications/Key Requirements
To be successful in applying for this opportunity you must be proven to
be: - Hard working, conscientious and responsible, - Highly motivated with a
positive attitude, - A team player, and - A "calculated risk taker".
In addition you must: - Possess a high school diploma, - Have solid math
skills, - Understand what it takes to satisfy a client in the food
industry, - Be comfortable delivering a perishable commodity on a daily
basis, and - Have a strong desire to be a part of the Lanthier team.
Preference will be given to candidates who are fully bilingual, live within
the territory they will be servicing, and have similar experience.
