Blue Sky Fund Raising Services is a subsidiary of GFR Distributing, which
was started in the fall of 1988 by Gerry Fitzgerald of Rutherglen, Ontario
and operated as a Direct Sales and Wholesale Distributor to the Retail
Sector. GFR Distributing Represents many fine companies and suppliers of
Quality Giftware, Collectables, Garden Decor, Inspirationals, Seasonals and
many many other great products. Fund Raising has been part of our Sales
Expertise since 1989 on a small-scale basis as required by certain
customers.
Blue Sky Fund Raising Services was established due to the ever increasing
demands caused by the enormous Cutbacks and Spending Habits encountered
today. Blue Sky Fund Raising Services has added many new great Fund Raising
products and is gearing itself to meet the ever-changing challenges of
modern society and the electronic world of Fax, Email and the Internet. With
a brand new website currently under construction, we are looking at many
ways to provide high quality fund raising products, at reduced costs, by
eliminating some non-essential add-on items, thereby increasing customer
profits. At the same time we will be retaining our most valuable service of
face-to-face contact with customers whenever possible. We believe our
Customers deserve the best services, all the time.
The Opportunity
Here's an opportunity to make a real difference while earning an excellent
income. As a Professional Sales Associate with Blue Sky Fund Raising
Services you will be in a position to provide charitable and non-profit
organizations, community and sports groups, and other worthwhile causes with
exceptional products and services to help them raise much needed funds. At
the same time you will be able to offer everyone from the small business
owner to the major corporation the opportunity to provide their support,
while gaining valuable exposure, new customers, and increased sales.
You will be responsible for achieving your sales quotas, maintaining proper
records of all of your activities and contacts, and completing daily
progress reports. You must be committed to keeping current with the industry
and the products and services offered by competitors as you will be expected
to prospect for and get face-to-face with new potential customers to present
the solutions offered by Blue Sky Fund Raising Services, while using your
exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills to maintain and build
on relationships with your existing customers in order to generate repeat
business.
Compensation
This opportunity offers a choice of attractive compensation options and
provides for income potential in the $30K to $40K range at the low end, and
upwards of $70K for a top performer.
Qualifications/Key Requirements
The successful candidates must: . Have 1 to 5 yrs of outside sales
experience, . Have a consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales
quotas, . Have previous experience cold calling or canvassing, . Be
aggressive and self motivated, . Have a strong, independent work ethic, .
Have excellent time management skills, . Have strong communication skills
(both written and oral), . Be a motivated self-starter, and . Have strong
computer skills.
