I use to purchase them at $1, then 50 cents, then 10 cents each.
Then Jim Patterson became director.
The shares were trading at 12 cents each then.
The name was changed to the Westar Group.
The shares were roll back for 113 old for 1 when the shares were 28 cents in
valve. (Double in value under Jimmy Paterson).
Then Jim Paterson made a bid for all the stock, and got over 50% of the
shares and went private.
At the time of going private, all shares were brought out at market valve
around $3 a share them (after rollback), plus a special dividend.
So effectively, I made all my money back.
Then Jimmy Paterson, after going private, went public under an income trust.
(This guys got brains and made even more money).
I then purchase the shares back when the IPO came out under "Westshore
Income Trust".
So BCRIC is now called Westshore Income Trust.
The big question is, can you get your money for your BCRIC shares? Try
calling Montreal Trust. They were the trustee in the matter.
If you have a few 10,000's worth of shares, it may be worth your while to
check it out. I had 750 under the old system.
