Another Hell's Angel Arrested For Dealing Drugs Along With Ex-Member

A London member of the Hells Angels is among 25 people charged in a
provincial probe that targeted drug trafficking in the Peterborough
area, the OPP said yesterday.
Shawn Boshaw, 32, known as Cheeks, was charged yesterday, hours before
London police and OPP biker-enforcement officers raided a home on
Goldwick Crescent in the city's northeast.
Boshaw was a former Outlaw member who jumped to the Hells Angels in
late 2001.
At least six police forces were involved in yesterday morning's raid
in London, Strathroy Caradoc, Peterborough and Peterborough County.
About $50,000 in cash along with cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana,
oxycodone, steroids and percocets were seized, Det. Insp. Don Bell
said.
The raids were part of a probe into drug trafficking in the
Peterborough area.
"We've made a significant impact in the Peterborough community in
dismantling a good portion of the drug trade they have," Bell said.
The project netted some street-level suspects, but also some higher in
the network, said Ken Jackman, deputy chief of Peterborough Lakefield
Community police.
Boshaw has been charged with 12 counts of breaching bail conditions,
conspiracy to traffic in a controlled substance and instructing the
commission of an offence for a criminal organization.
David Wayne Fretz, 43, of Peterborough, a former member of the Hells
Angels, was also charged with conspiracy to traffic a controlled
substance.
Also charged were Mark George Balemba, 28, and Stephanie Hussey, 21,
both of Ennismore; Brian Burrett, 38, Minden Hills; Steven Vincent
Deal, 29, and Christopher Ross Hadwyn, 37, both of Cavan Township;
James Laver, 50, Norwood; Douglas Mulligan, 38, Kingston; Gary Arthur
Spall, 35, Lakefield; Lise Wing, 32, Frontenac Islands Township; and
Patricia Ann Coughlin, 49, Shawn D'Arcy Brennan, 32, Bryan Davies, 20,
Jennifer Lee Haines, 24, Richard James Johnson, 50, Tina Melissa
Libby, 24, Mervyn Monteith, 42, Jody Procter, 27, Lawrence Edward
Tompkins, 30, Loanique Bruno Turcotte, 20, and Deborah Wood, 51, all
of Peterborough.

Hells Angels Charged in Drug Trafficking Network
PETERBOROUGH, ON, June 2 /CNW/ - The Provincial Biker Enforcement
Unit
(BEU) arrested and charged 25 individuals today following an 11-month
investigation into a drug trafficking network in Peterborough and the
surrounding area.
Among those charged is Hells Angels member Shawn Gordon Boshaw,
32, who
is charged with instructing the commission of an offence for a
criminal
organization. Another current member and an ex Hells Angels member are
also
charged.
Members of the BEU, in cooperation with the Peterborough Lakefield
Police
Service, the Ontario Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Section, OPP
West
Region, OPP Central Region, Strathroy Caradoc Police Service, and the
Provincial Asset Forfeiture Unit, executed 14 search warrants in the
City of
Peterborough, and Peterborough County. Warrants were also executed at
locations in the eastern Ontario, City of London, and southwestern
Ontario.
Items seized during the course of the investigation include:
quantities
of cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana, oxycodone, steroids, percocets and
drug
paraphernalia. Also seized was approximately $50,000 in cash.
