Two figher jets just flew over London (Ontario)

Flying from south to north, roughly over Wonderland road.
I'd guess 5k feet. Not going very fast. Flying in close formation.
Not too loud.
Couldn't see the markings - they were almost right overhead.
This was about 3:30 pm EST.

Seems this was planned, but for last week over eastern ontario. No
mention I can find in the press about more such flights over SW-Ontario
this week.

What may look like a cat-and-mouse chase by military planes over the
skies of eastern Ontario and Quebec on Thursday will just be a training
exercise, military officials said Wednesday.
From mid to late morning, pilots with the joint Canadian and U.S. North
American Aerospace Defence Command will be practising intercept
exercises, the military said.
People may see or hear Norad fighter jets flying very close to a U.S.
Air Force C-21, which will play the role of unknown rogue aircraft.
The chase will unfold over the skies of Ontario east of Ottawa, southern
Quebec west of Montreal, northeastern Rhode Island and southeastern
Massachusetts, Norad said.
“These exercises are closely controlled,” Norad said.
The mock intercepts are part of Operation Noble Eagle, Norad’s response
to the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Well, we have to use the ones we got for something at least once before
they retire.
Never understood why we ordered 60 obsolete problematic F35s for.
Americans don't even want to pay a fair price for our oil, so why should
we subsidize their corrupt mil development? Should have gotten the
India or Russian T50 would be good. At least a Sukoi T50 can nail a F35.
Oh, I forgot, CF Cold Lake does go up to the north pole there once and
awhile to dance with the Ruskies.
