Resonance Call Out 2023/24

Hello,

 

Opera North's Projects department recently announced the callout for our 2023/24 Resonance Residency

         

The residencies are open to all global majority professional music-makers from, working in any genre, and living across the north of England or the Midlands, with five open residency opportunities in total. Residencies will take place for up to a week between November 2023 and March 2024.

 

The programme offers:

• Up to a week of free rehearsal space in Leeds with appropriate technical support
• A grant of up to £4,000 to cover fees for those involved and other costs
• Support and advice from technicians, producers and other specialists as needed
• An optional ‘work in progress’ performance opportunity for an invited audience  
• An optional short film and/or audio recording
• Bespoke advice and support for up to a year after the residency

Applications must be submitted by 10am on Friday 18th August 2023 and the direct link to the short application form can be found here.

We welcome audio and video applications and have included a box in the application form for the link to be inserted.
