# Apologies for cross posting #
Dear curation community,
The FRDR curation team at the Digital Research Alliance of Canada is pleased to invite you to participate in a new initiative for practitioners across Canada:
The Curation Clinic. This series of informal, interactive sessions is designed to connect curators, share experiences, and discuss the latest tools, practices, and challenges in curating research data.
What to expect:
-
Peer exchange: A space to learn from the experiences of fellow curators and share your own successes, dilemmas, and insights.
-
Tools and practice updates: An opportunity to stay in the loop on evolving practices and learn about new tools being used in research data curation across the country.
-
Collaborative problem solving: Bring your questions or challenges that can benefit from group discussion and practical solutions.
We want these sessions to be engaging, collaborative and, most importantly, useful for your professional role. Whether you're just curious or actively working through a tricky dataset, we welcome your participation.
First session details
Date: Wednesday, July 23, 2025
Time: 10 AM (Pacific) / 11 am (Mountain)/ 1 PM (Eastern) / 2 PM (Atlantic) via Zoom
If you have any questions, please reply to this email — and feel free to pass the invite along to colleagues who might be interested. We look forward to seeing you at our first Curation Clinic!
Kind regards,
FRDR Curation Team
