Dear curation community,
We are back! The FRDR curation team is pleased to invite you to participate in the
Curation Clinic: Data Explorer and Metadata Codebook Documentation Tool for Curators.
The Data Explorer in Borealis is a comprehensive web application that supports data exploration, analysis, and curation at the variable level for datasets in Odesi and Borealis. It allows authorized users to view, edit, and manage variable metadata using Dataverse
APIs and the Data Documentation Initiative (DDI) metadata standard. The tool enables users to explore tabular data files, view summary statistics, create visualizations, and generate or download DDI Codebooks for data documentation and reuse.
Zeynep Cevik, Data Support Specialist at Borealis & Odesi support would be joining us to present on this amazing tool followed by live demonstration and questions/discussion.
