Thursday, April 18, 2024 @ 12 p.m. PT / 1 p.m. MT / 2 p.m. CT via Zoom

Join the COPPUL Digital Stewardship Network’s Community of Practice for an hour-long informal meet up to connect and share expertise and experiences related to digital preservation topics.

This mixer will feature two short presentations from our community members:

  • Lisa Lawlis (Western University) will share information on an ongoing, large scale digitization project and a workflow for processing born-digital records on CD and DVD

  • Sarah Little and Heather Walker (Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21) will share information about the process of transferring files and metadata from catalogue records into a digital preservation system

We will have plenty of time for Q&A and discussion on these and other preservation topics, and digital preservationists of all roles, areas, and levels of expertise are welcome. Please feel free to share this invitation with anyone who may be interested.

RSVP by April 17, 2024: CLICK HERE TO RSVP

Questions? Please contact Kate Cawthorn (kathryn....@ucalgary.ca) or Andréa Tarnawsky (andrea_t...@sfu.ca), co-chairs.

Future mixer dates TBD. Let us know if there’s a topic you’d like to discuss!
