Anti-war/pro-worker/pro-immigrant solidarity

Why wear a black armband on May 1st?

-May 1st is the 4th anniversary of Bush's speech in front of the "Mission Accomplished" banner.

-May 1st is May Day, a holiday that celebrates the working class who endure the brunt of the burden of war.

-May 1st (May Day) also recognizes the rights of immigrants who suffer under the same systemic racism that is present in current American war policy.

End the war, end racism, support all workers.
