On January 27th people form every corner the United States will converge in Washington D.C to demand an end to the war and occupation in Iraq. The Campus Anti-war Network (CAN) calls on all members, allies, and supporters to organize in full force for this critical mobilization.
This past November the American electorate delivered a clear message to our government, Bring the Troops Home Now! However democracy not not be delivered by the ballot box alone, it requires your active participation, sacrifice, and organizing. We must have a critical mass of people to deliver a loud mandate to the new our new congress, they now hold the purse strings, they control the funding and the power to end this war.

We call on you to ORGANIZE ORGANIZE ORGANIZE!!!

Charter Buses, Trains, Vans, Carpools

Buses are already coming from: Iowa, Wisconsin, New York, and New Jersey

Do whatever it takes to get you and as many others out to D.C!

CAN will be organizing both a contingent for the march as well as a CAN-wide meeting to take place after the march. The meeting will began immediately after the march and will include: Coordinating Committee elections, proposals, and presentations.

More information about the CAN Meeting and CAN contingent for the march will be coming soon, there will soon be more information on West Coast efforts as well.

"There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part; you can't even passively take part, and you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop. And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all!"
