Hi,

when I starting start-cumnda.sh I get following message: "We are sorry... We tried all we could do but we couldn't locate your default browser... \nIf you want to see our default website please open your browser and insert this URL:\nhttp://localhost:8080/camunda-welcome/index.html"

Furthermore, I did the tutorial step by step a few times. When I came to the menu "Check with camunda Cockpit and Tasklist" and went to http://localhost:8080/camunda/app/cockpit I didn't see "loan approval". So what did I wrong???

Kind Regards
Oliver Hartmann

Hi Oliver,

first of all can you tell us which application server and the version of camunda BPM you are using?
1. The start shell script checks your default browser. If it's not chrome or firefox the message appears. You can change your defualt browser or you can use the stated URL to start.

2. Did you check the Deploy Your Process section: http://camunda.org/get-started/developing-process-applications.html#tutorial-deploy-the-process-application in the user guide? You have to read your server log to verify that the loan-approval process was successfully deployed. You'll find the log file of the tomcat distro under camunda-bpm-tomcat-7.1.0-alpha1\server\apache-tomcat-7.0.33\logs\catalina.YYYY-MM-DD.log
Can you see the loan-approval process when you select "Start a process instance" in tasklist?

Cheers
Michael
