Hi,

We are looking for good BPM/ Camunda books. Naturally, our best option would be to get books from any Camunda Architects themselves.

We found the following one from Amazon:

but it is Dec/2014 and Camunda has improved a lot since then and we are not sure it was created from a developer point of view.
Nevertheless, we are planning to buy it, but we are wondering whether we can find another ones on market at the moment, as we are planning to invest in this area.

Thanks in advance,
Ernesto

Hi Ernesto.

Currently there is no developer book on Camunda BPM I know of (whoever listens here and is eager to write one – mail me – I would love to support that!). Currently this is not a big issue as the documentation is pretty good and covers for the missing book well (https://docs.camunda.org/).

Real-Life BPMN is a good choice nevertheless, as it explains BPMN and the methodology to use it correctly in great detail. But it does not go into details of Camunda BPM.

Cheers

Bernd

Hi Bernd,

Thanks for the quick answer!
Basically, I would like to bind developers with analysts in our project(s). The cited book looks quite good from an analyst point of view, so we will buy it, thanks for your advice.
Nevertheless, we would appreciate any books from a developer perspective too. So, if anyone is creating one, we will be his first buyer :-)

Thanks again!
Ernesto
