External javascript file in camunda bpmn script task

Hi,

Can we include external java script file to script task. And how to add dynamic validations from external file incamunda, if we do not have GUI and have JSON/XML data. 

If I tried to add external javascript file or xslt file in my bpmn script tast, then I am getting following error:

 ERROR org.camunda.bpm.engine.impl.interceptor.CommandContext - Error while closing command context

org.camunda.bpm.engine.exception.NullValueException: Can't find scripting engine for 'script': scriptEngine is null

Please suggest.

Hi Aashi,

You're on the right way. Try to set the scriptFormat attribute on the script task to a valid script language.
