Hello together,

I like to render a process diagram within a vaadin portlet deployed in a liferay container.
The diagram should mark the current activity and should be clickable for further actions.

1) Is this possible with Camunda BPMN JS or do I need more libraries to do that ?
2) Is there an example how to do that with vaadin ?

Thanks in advance
Jörg

Hi Jörg,

I am unfamiliar with Vaadin so I can only speak for camunda-bpmn.js [1]

camunda-bpmn.js provides the functionalitly required for implementing your usecase. Are you familiar with the camunda Cockpit application? There we use it for exactly this.

camunda-bpmn.js depends on some javascript libraries which can be found inside the lib/ folder [2]
The readme inside the repository shows how the library can be added to a HTML file.

Daniel

Please also note that while we still maintain camunda-bpmn.js, it will
not be actively enhanced any further.

We focus most of our effort on http://bpmn.io

The following bpmn.io Example may be intersting to you:

Hi Daniel,

thanks for the information, I will have a look at the examples from your posts.
I think we will start with bpmn.io and hopefully end with a running vaadin-bpmn.io example ;-)
