Hello -

We are using Camunda version 7.4 and the new Camunda Modeler to create the BPMN diagrams. We have one slightly complicated process that when displayed in Tasklist (on the user task diagram tab) or in Cockpit only shows two timer event symbols and nothing else of the diagram.

Any hints on where to look for errors?

Thanks.

Hi Mick,

Are there any errors or warnings logged in the browser console, when you open the diagram? The browser console can be opened via "F12".
Have you already tried to clear the browser cache?
Have you already tried to open the BPMN diagram in http://demo.bpmn.io/ ?

Cheers,
Roman

Hi Roman --

Thanks for your reply.

- No errors displayed when we toggle F12. (We have tried from IE 11 and Chrome 47.)

- We cleared cache.

- The diagram loads fine at the demo.bpmn.io site

We are willing to share the BPMN XML file if that would be helpful.

Hi Mick,

Yes, it would be helpful if you could share the BPMN XML.

Cheers,
Roman

Hi Michael,

Thanks for sharing your BPMN xml.

I was able to reproduce it. The problem is that your BPMN xml contains an empty lane set, when I remove it cockpit shows the BPMN correctly. So, you have to remove the following line

<bpmn2:laneSet id="LaneSet_1" name="Lane Set 1" />

I attached the working BPMN xml.

Cheers,
Roman

Roman --

That's great. Thanks so much for the help. I'm not sure we would have ever figure that out.

(Was there an error somewhere that we could have seen?)
