Hi Jan,
Behavior in alpha9 will be this:
1. Create initial user
We check whether the magic group “camunda-admin” has at least one member. If there are no members of the group “camunda admin” the “create initial user form” will be presented.
2. “Who can log into cockpit?”
We now support explicit authorizations to log into cockpit. Therefore, a “cockpit user” is a user who is authorized to use the cockpit application.
Such authorizations can be managed
- globally (“anyone can use cockpit” / “nobody can use cockpit”)
- on a per group basis (“all members of group sales are authorized to use cockpit”)
- on a per user basis (“Jan is not authorized to use cockpit”)
User authorizations have higher precedence than group authorizations have higher precedence than global authorizations.
Cheers,
Daniel Meyer
