How camunda expose its service

Hi,

I would like to know how external interface system can invoke bpm process/services defined in Camunda.

As I experienced I could start the process through camunda’s task list web console. Is there any other way can I initiate the process through SOAP UI or any other client?

Camunda provides a REST API [1] that you can use to remotely interact with the process engine.

Also it would be helpful if you share some guide document in low level to get understand the different tabs in property of activity.

Hi Parthiban A.,

The REST API documentation contains example requests and responses for the specific methods it provides. There is no step-by-step example on how to use it with a client like SOAP UI.

I don't understand your second question. Could you please elaborate on that? If you are looking for a general introduction on the concepts Camunda provides and implements, you can have a look at the user guide [1].
