Hey everyone,

could someone please poke Christian to do the 1.3.0 release of camunda OSGi?
Two weeks ago I created an issue (actually two) on GitHub and assigned him but nothing happened so far.
I am unable to release without him, I need him ;)

Cheers,
Ronny

Hi Ronny,

I executed a test release but there were failing tests during the release. I created a job for running the 1.3 branch and it also failed. Did you get the logs?

The cause is:

org.osgi.framework.BundleException: Unresolved constraint in bundle org.camunda.bpm.extension.osgi [33]: Unable to resolve 33.0: missing requirement [33.0] package; (&(package=org.camunda.bpm.engine)(version>=7.4.0)(!(version>=7.5.0))) [caused by: Unable to resolve 13.0: missing requirement [13.0] package; (&(package=org.camunda.bpm.dmn.engine)(version>=7.4.0)(!(version>=7.5.0))) [caused by: Unable to resolve 16.0: missing requirement [16.0] package; (&(package=org.camunda.bpm.dmn.feel.impl.juel)(version>=7.4.0)(!(version>=8.0.0))) [caused by: Unable to resolve 15.0: missing requirement [15.0] package; (package=de.odysseus.el.misc)]]]

Cheers,
Christian

Hi Christian,

testing against version 7.4.0 of camunda BPM the tests will always fail, since the imports and exports are broken.
There is no chance to run the tests succesfully.
You could only try to run it internally against the latest 7.4.x maintenance version and see if it works.
But for official release I have to stick to 7.4.0 and users will have to patch 7.4.0 themselves.

Cheers,
Ronny

Hi Ronny,

Alright, I disabled the tests and did the release. Maven central should be available in 2 hours.

Please go to https://github.com/camunda/camunda-bpm-platform-osgi/releases and edit the 1.3.0 release infos.

Cheers,

Christian

Hi Christian,

thank you for your help.
If you have some time left, there is another issue where I'd like to make use of your help ;)
