Camera data doesn´t appear in digikam

I have the problem that when opening the photos with digikam the data of the camera and the temperature do not appear. I understand that they should be viewed as metadata.
Does anyone have any experience on this matter?

Hi Mari,

digiKam does not necessarily show all image metadata. It shows some file metadata in the "Properties" tab on the right side of the screen, and some EXIF metadata in the "Metadata" tab on the right (just below Properties). Under Metadata, there's more tabs and you can see "EXIF", "Makernote", "IPTC" and "XMP" metadata. See below.

But even then some metadata might not show up. 

To be certain which metadata you images contain, use the function exifTagNames. It will use Exiftool to extract all available metadata in the images (or videos).

Hello Mari,

    We use Bushnell Aggressor cameras and certain information like temperature and station ID (Entered at camera setup) only show written on the image. They are not saved in either filename or in any exif fields that I could access.
