Hi all,

I just installed camtrapR 2.0.3, but when I tried to load the package, I received this message and I don't knos what it means.

> library(camtrapR)
This is camtrapR 2.0.3 (CURRENT)
Error: package or namespace load failed for ‘camtrapR’:
 .onAttach failed in attachNamespace() for 'camtrapR', details:
  call: FUN(X[[i]], ...)
  error: cannot coerce type 'closure' to vector of type 'character'

Thank you!

Hi Luc,
can you please share your
sessionInfo()

From the error message I don't know what is going wrong. Generally, I'd recommend using the latest version of R and updating all packages, then try again. That may already solve it.
Best regards,
Jürgen

Hi Luc,
Try again after running update.packages(ask = FALSE, checkBuilt = TRUE)
I don't know how you updated from R 3.6 to 4.0 but if you simply moved or renamed your folder of library, that could explain it.
