camtrapR 2.3.1 on CRAN

Dear camtrapR users,

Version 2.3.1 is now available on CRAN. This maintenance release ensures continued CRAN compliance while preserving all existing functionality from version 2.3.0.

For users currently working with the CRAN version, this update is virtually identical to 2.3.0 from a user perspective. The GitHub development version many contains additional features that are not yet included in this CRAN release.

We are preparing a major release (version 3.0) for later this month that will bring the enhanced functionality from the development branch to CRAN users. This upcoming release will include a much enhanced Shiny dashboard and several other new functions and will be announced separately.
