The next South Yorkshire Young Persons Social of the year will be a pub crawl around the real ale pubs of Sheffield on Saturday the 28th of April. We are meeting in The Devonshire Cat, Wellington Street, Devonshire Green, Sheffield, S1 4HG at 1pm. The nearest tram stop is West Street on the blue and yellow routes. From the tram stop walk past the Tesco towards Devonshire Green across Division Street and past the Forum, the Dev Cat should be visible ahead on the left.

The crawl will then advance by tram to visit pubs in the “Valley of Beer” including the New Barrack Tavern, Hillsborough Hotel, The Harlequin, Cask and Cutler, Fat Cat and Kelham Island Tavern. For those travelling from within South Yorkshire the best ticket is probably the South Yorkshire Daytripper at £4.50, which is available on any bus and tram on the day and also from SYPTE travel centres in advance. The ticket allows unlimited travel on all trains, bus and trams within South Yorkshire. Alternatively a Stagecoach Dayrider is available at £2.70 and valid on all trams and Stagecoach busses.  Please bring your friends along, everybody is welcome to come on the pub crawl you don’t need to be a CAMRA member.
