EVENT: Young Members Group Committee Meeting.
WHEN: Saturday 14th October, 1pm - 4pm.
WHERE: Duke of Hamilton, 23 New End, Hampstead, Greater London, NW3 1JD. Nearest Undergroud Station is Hampstead, Northern Line. GBG 2006 page 291.

DETAILS: Four Young Members Group Meetings are held around the UK each year. All Young CAMRA Members are welcome to these meetings and to the pub-crawls we always have afterwards. The pub-crawls leave from the meeting venue at 4.30pm.

A new Young Members Group Committee will be elected at this meeting. The positions up for election are Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Student Liaison Officer, Promotions & Marketing Officer and two Committee members without portfolio. EVENT: Pub Crawl of London
WHEN: Saturday 14th October 2006
WHERE: Leave the Duke of Hamilton, 23 New End, Hampstead, Greater London, NW3 1JD at 4.30pm prompt. Nearest Undergroud Station is Hampstead, Northern Line. GBG 2006 page 291.

DETAILS: A pub-crawl happens after every Young Members Group Committe meeting and the pubs we visit are chosen by local Young Members. The meeting will finish at 4pm and the pub-crawl will start at 4.30pm. You're welcome to join us for the pub-crawl even if you've not been to the meeting.

EVENT: Working Social at Nottingham Beer Festival
WHEN: Saturday 21st October, 1.30pm - 5.30pm.
WHERE: The 30th Nottingham Beer festival will be held at the Victoria Leisure Centre, Gedling Street, Sneinton, Nottingham, which is a 15 minute walk from Nottingham Railway Station, Broadmarsh Bus Station and the Victoria Bus Station or a 10 minute walk from the Lace Market tram stop.

DETAILS: The shift we've been invited to staff is from 1.30pm - 5.30pm on Saturday 21st October. Bar Training will be given to anyone who hasn't worked at a Beer Festival before.
Staffing from 1.30 - 5.30pm will allow time for socialising and lunch before our shift, time for a mini pub-crawl, time to socialise and listen to the bands, as well as giving plenty of time for people to travel home.
After working our shift we will go on a mini pub-crawl around the local pubs followed by socialising back at the Beer Festival. Bar Training will be given to anyone who hasn't worked at a Beer Festival before.

CONCESSIONS: The concessions for all those Young Members who staff are i) FREE Admission, ii) FREE Glass, iii) Free Beer/Cider Tokens (issued based on the number of hours worked), iv) FREE limited edition Young Members Staff T-shirt for the first 20 Young Members to volunteer, v) Guaranteed admission to the evening session, vi) Staff thank-you party during November or December.

NOTE: You're more than welcome to bring your mates with you to enjoy the festival, but please bear in mind that only CAMRA members are allowed to staff and anyone who doesn't staff, will not receive the concessions listed above. EVENT: Working Social at Twickenham Beer Festival
WHEN: Saturday 21st October, 2.00pm - 4.00pm.
WHERE
: Twickenham Beer Festival is at York Hall, Richmond Road, Twickenham and isn't far from the stop for the 281 bus from Kingston or Twickenham Railway Station.

DETAILS
: Training will be given for any novices to bar work. The working session from 2pm – 4pm will be followed by a social session at the festival and then on to some of the better pubs in Twickenham. The Branch Young Members Contacts from local Branches will be present to greet you and to socialise later on.

CONCESSIONS
: Workers at the festival get a limited quantity of free beer and discount on the food.

EVENT: Norwich Beer Festival.
WHEN: Monday 23rd - Saturday 28th October.
WHERE: St. Andrew's & Blackfriars' Halls, St. Andrew's Street, Norwich, Norfolk.
DETAILS: Ruduced entry fee for students on 23rd & 24th. Events being planned for Young Members during the week.
