The Young Members Group Committee [YMGC] has a responsibility to
reflect the interests of all Young Members. It both reports to CAMRA
and be a part of how CAMRA responds (and should respond) to Young
Members and young people.
We meet up four times a year and now the time has come to have our end
of year review [AGM] and look to the future on what the YMGC can do
next year.
This year our AGM is taking place at the Eldon Arms in Reading. Once
the business is concluded, we will move onto a more social crawl
around some fine Reading pubs.
If you would like to play a part in shaping the future of Young
Members and CAMRA, then this meeting is for you!
At the AGM we hold elections for the many committee positions
available. They are:
- Chairman
- Vice-chair
- Secretary
- Promotions and Marketing rep
- What's Brewing rep
- Student Liaison officer
- APPLE rep
- Non-portfolio officer
The above positions are pretty self explanatory but if you would like
info on the exact roles then email us. If you would be interested in
standing for any of these positions then please email me at

This meeting is a chance for you to stand up and voice your opinion on
what has been done, what needs to happen and how better to go about
doing more. If you are passionate then please come along and express
your views!
