I can confirm that Bury Round Table will be holding their 2nd annual
beer festival on Friday September 14th and Saturday September 15th.
(5-11 Fri & 12-11 Sat).
The venue has changed - it will be held at Bury Sports Club (Radcliffe
Road,Bury,BL9 9JX). As you come out of Bury on Manchester Road, past
Holy Cross College, you turn immediately right and the entrance to the
Sports Club is there. Only 10 mins walk from Bury Interchange and
buses stop right outside the Sports Club.
The venue is bigger and better than the Oddfellows! Plenty of indoor
seating and great outdoor drinking opportunities (weather
permitting).
All proceeds will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support, our official
partners this year. We raised over £1,000 last year and having learned
many valuable lessons, I hope to present a cheque to Macmillan for a
sum far in excess of last years total.
I'll be sourcing 25 casks and there will be food available. The beer,
will of course be superb! The pricing will be keen...don't worry.
It would be great to see as many of you there as possible - I'd
appreciate it if you could spread the word! I'll provide further
information nearer the time. Please put it in your diary and support
