Buried Chilled Water Valves

We have had very good success for many years with Mueller 2360 / 2361 resilient wedge gate valves. We use the SL x SL version in conjunction with PVC pipe. We have no problem obtaining valves quickly when we need them as they are also the standard valve both we and the surrounding municipality specify for domestic water distribution, so several local wholesalers stock them. Make sure you get the most corrosion resistant fasteners available when you specify them – as a minimum 304 stainless steel, or better yet 316.
