Utility Billing/Metering Software

[E. Scott Martin]

Is anyone using commercially available software (that they would
recommend) to collect meter readings and, ultimately, drive their
campus utility billing.

We're looking to either update our existing, in-house software or make
the move to commercially available software and am wondering what
people are using.

Scott,

For internal campus billing we are using a product called Energy Witness
from IDS. Anyone with a university ID can log in and see historic
monthly / annual billing information regarding energy, $, and GHG at a
building or higher level roll-up. It also connects to a PI database that
has all of our campus meter info so it can present real time values and
customer selected interval data.
