Oxygen Scavenger Used in Steam used Directly for Humidification

All,
We are looking at changing our oxygen scavenger in our steam system.  Right now we are using Erythorbic Acid and seeing some tube failures in our HRSG.  Our chemical vendor has recommended we switch to Catalyzed DEHA.  We are able to find a couple Universities doing this, but unfortunately, none in our area.   What are some of you using if your steam is used directly for humidification?
