I am writing on behalf of the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation (TD FEF) with a great contest we are holding. The contest is in the form of a short (4 min) video submission.
** Please Note: The contest is based SOELY on the student’s idea, not on the quality of the video itself!
**** TD Friends of the Environment Foundation ( TD FEF) is thrilled to announce the launch of the fourth annual TD Go Green Challenge – a competition that rewards students for thinking green.
This year the prizing is richer than ever! There is nearly $200,000 in prizing up for grabs..
What’s at stake:
First Place Prize:
o $20,000 Cash for the team members to share
o A paid summer internship for each member of the team with either TD FEF or a TD FEF partner organization.
o Plus a $100,000 sustainability grant for the team’s college or university.
Second Place Prize:
o $15,000 Cash for the team members to share
o $15,000 for the team’s college or university to support tree planting on campus
Third Place Prize:
o $10,000 Cash for the team members to share
o $10,000 for the team’s college or university to support tree planting on campus
There is also a $2500 ‘People’s Choice Award’ which will be decided by an online vote.
How to enter
Instead of preparing essays, this year we are inviting teams to create and submit a short video – no longer than four minutes in length. Teams must be made up of two to four students from the same school. We strongly encourage cross-faculty teams. The deadline to enter is January 21, 2011.
