Real Hope at UW Madison and Beyond
God loves every student and faculty member who stepped onto campus this fall semester at UW Madison. That's why students leaders and I have spent hours praying and preparing for New Student Outreach, which started weeks before the first day of classes. We want each person to feel welcome to join us as they are and to experience the hope found in Christ. I can't wait to welcome them into our community!
I'm also excited that InterVarsity is officially on 695 campuses—near our all-time high—which means thousands will be welcomed to campus by an InterVarsity chapter this fall. But God has also been breaking our hearts as an organization for the hundreds of campuses across the US that don't have any known witnessing community.
In response, the Lord has given InterVarsity a bold picture for the next 12 years, our 2030 Calling: Longing for revival, we catalyze movements that call every corner of every campus to follow Jesus. By the year 2030, we hope to see diverse witnessing communities on all 2,500 US campuses that have over 1,000 students. Even more, we're praying for God to bring revival, along with:
- 71,500 multiplying small groups
- 134,000 new followers of Jesus
- 4,000,000 partners praying
- 12,000,000 reached for the Gospel

Partner with Us
This is a big calling, so we need help, now and throughout the next 12 years. You have been such a faithful friend and partner to me. Would you consider partnering today in one or both of the following ways?
- Pray for New Student Outreach on campus—that God would connect us with students and faculty who need the hope of Jesus. Would you also commit to pray regularly for the Lord to bring revival on our campus and on other campuses across the nation?
- Give a gift to support the Lord’s work on campus. Your gifts enable us to serve students on this campus as well as engage with other campuses that currently don't have a witnessing community. You could become a monthly donor, increase the monthly amount you already give, or give a special one-time gift to help us start the school year strong.
Thank you for your care for me and for college students and faculty!
Don't worry, the next update will include "On a personal note" that was part of my previous updates.
