Hi Everyone,

Welcome to the Service Team Google Group. We're going to send out
important information on this list server, such as any legal forms
that may need to be filled out for service weekends. There should be a
application out soon for the March weekend.

Some new information for the March 7-9 Service Weekend. We're going to
be doing various jobs to get ready for camp this summer. Some of the
specific jobs will be repainting (inside and out) buildings,
especially craft huts; reroofing a few buildings in serious need of
work; and landscaping to make camp even prettier than it already is!
We should have most of the tools necessary for these jobs, but if you
have your own and want to bring them, please feel free.

It looks like we're going to be staying in the Wilderness Cabins for
this weekend, and we will need to know concretely if you are coming so
that the necessary number of cabins are reserved. A deadline date will
be sent out once the volunteer forms are sent.

In order to offset the costs of lodging, meals, and supplies it is
requested that each volunteer donate $20 for the weekend. Our goal
with these weekends are to save the camp money by offering free labor,
but we'd like to take it one step further by paying our own way as
well. If, for whatever reason, you will not be able to make this
donation then please let me know and we'll work it out.

Well, that's all for now. Stay tuned as more information gets
released. Also, if you don't see some of your friends on this list,
please get them to join since this is the forum where most information
will be released on.
