The Excellence uniting Culture Education and Leadership (ExCEL) Program is seeking highly dedicated and enthusiastic student leaders to serve as members of its Executive Staff for 2010!
The ExCEL Program is designed to help students discover the academic, social, and personal balance necessary to facilitate their success at Texas A&M and beyond. The program assists first-year freshman students in making a smooth transition from high school to Texas A&M University. ExCEL kicks off with a two-day orientation conference held in August, the week before classes begin. Following the kick-off, a two-part seminar series will take place during the Fall semester along with socials, community service and much more.
Anyone is eligible to apply - previous participation in the ExCEL Program is NOT required. We are seeking an Executive Staff that is representative of the diversity at Texas A&M University so all students that meet the minimum requirements are welcome to apply.

Developing LEADERS for a Multicultural World
“We
cannot seek achievement for ourselves and forget about progress and prosperity
for our community. Our ambitions must be broad enough to include the aspirations
and needs of others, for their sake and for our own.”
— Cesar Chavez
