Great Tent
By Donnie
This tent is very easy to setup. I bought this tent recently and used it for a one week trip to Allegheny National Forest. I was always the first guy to have his tent up. Took less than 5 minutes. The tent is wider at one end - so when I first practiced setting this up, I screwed it up, only to realize that the tent has colored tags at the corners of one side of the tent, which match up with the fly as well as the footprint. Setting this tent up became second nature after a day or two.
The tent also packs down well. I rolled up the tent and fly separately and placed them in the stuff sack with the footprint on top, and it only takes up half of the stuff sack space (I kept the poles on the outside of my backpack).
It also does a good job of keeping you dry. We endured two rain storms and it held up great - but you must be sure to stake the fly out properly or you will suffer. I can't comment on how it holds up to wind - we barely had a breeze during our trip.

Wonderful tent
By Kindle Fire Reader
This is my first backpacking tent, purchased in 2007. I have purchased 3 additional tents since, but this is still my go-to tent for 3 season backpacking, used 20 times so far. This tent is light, under 3 lbs, very sturdy in high winds. minimal condensation, if any, and is rain proof. This one person tent is cozy, just big enough for some gear at the head and foot of the tent, but is big enough for me. If I had a quibble, it would be that the roof of the tent is narrow due to lack of a cross bar. But, a cross bar adds weight and I am fine with the set-up. The vestibule is just big enough for my backpack and books. I don't spend much time in my tent, just to sleep, or wait out a short storm, so the small size is perfect.
