The new www.Keysspill.com web site is up, check it out...here is
some news on events and meetings.

On Saturday, June 26 at 11:30 a.m. demonstrators will gather at
beaches around the world, and in the Florida Keys, for "Hands
Across the Sand."  Organizers want to send a powerful message: NO
to offshore oil drilling and YES to clean, alternative energy.

Local organizer and radio host, Erika Biddle (The ECOcentricView -
community radio KONK1500AM), has asked participants to wear blue
and green clothes or ribbons to show community support. "For the
blue of our ocean and the green of our Florida Keys - we stand
united." "We are drawing a line in the sand against offshore oil
drilling along America's beaches in solidarity with others across
America and around the world," Biddle said. "No industry should be
able to place entire coastal economies and marine environments at
risk through dangerous decisions ending in dirty mistakes."
