Where to begin???

Dear friend,

Our Hard Work Paid Off!

It was quite the week in the PDA community that started with targeted Emergency Actions at the offices of Democratic leadership around the country, asking them to speak out against the SNAP cuts in the Farm Bill, and ended yesterday with the defeat of the Farm Bill. In between, we had 225 letters dropped (our best ever) at Congressional offices around the country. We also visited 72 offices on Capitol hill, sent 22,054 email messages to 527 members of the House and Senate using our advocacy alert, and made hundreds of phone calls since this battle began. See the digest of where these drops took place here. Please share (do not forward!) this email on your social media accounts as it recaps a lot of the great work we did!

Here is just some of the media coverage around this week's events:

Thank you all for your efforts during this monumental week. View photos from the week here, and join next month on July 17th as we try to break 250 letter drops!
