Hello gang!!!

Sorry this has taken so pathetically long to write, but who knew five
minutes would be so hard to find. I really need to train this kid to
sleep more without me at his side.

Anyway, the kid was pretty happy inside and needed over two days of
prodding to get it out. Once it decided though, he came out with a
bang and luckily the doctor had quick hands and good hand-eye
coordination. Breastfeeding took a long time to grasp, and I'm still
ready to botox my nipples to stop the pain, but at least it's a go (I
can share that with you guys only because you shared so many intimate
details with me and nothing really phases you guys - which is why I
love you so much!!).  I can just hear Shotgun's smart ass comments at
this moment. I really wish she was hear to give me some of her
motherly advise.

Thanks for the ongoing updates. Rob - SO good to hear from you!! Glad
there has been at least a bit of good news. Sprouts - how have things
been with you? It sounds
like things are getting better for Carious - which makes me incredibly
happy. Clover - thanks for keeping us all together.  Psyche - congrats
on the engagement and the move and the huge changes in your life. Milf
- do you have any parenting advise?!!!

Well, looks like it is time for another feed so I'll check in with the
rest of you later. A few pictures of baby Wellington. I could honestly
take a picture of him every time he sleeps - babies are just so cute!!

Take care everyone, and thanks for the ongoing updates. It means a lot
that we keep in touch.

I'm so bad for not getting around to responding until now, but I have
a hard time navaigating all the emails in the threads!

First, OMG Slash, he's amazing. That has to be one of the absolute
best baby photos I've ever seen. You make me laugh about the botoxed
nipples. Breastfeeding seems like it should be so natural but it's
one of the most difficult things & it's beyond exhausting. I'll bet
Shotgun is looking down on you and lil' W and just smiling away - she
loved her boys so darn much. My parenting advice: enjoy the ride,
pick your battles & don't worry so much!

Fluff, Yes! So good to hear from you. Like Again, said - when you
finally responded, it wasn't all good news, but it didn't matter b/c
it made my night too.

I don't think I ever saw an update from Sprouts...

Caribou is on FB & her hubby does a great job keeping everyone
updated. I think just recently she changed chemos and while she's
suffering from some difficult side effects, I think they got some good
numbers or labs recently that showed it was at least somewhat
effective. I think she still needs lots of FD love and prayers too.

I feel like I always know what's up w/ Clover b/c like me, she's on FB
lots & she's been posting a Teal Pic of the day all month and that's
been really neat. Spike and I went Teal Toenails for her this month!
Although I must say that tonight I'm going to a Navy Ball and wearing
a red dress so I'll have to change the teal at my pedi today to match
better for this evening!

As for me, my son started his senior year of high school a few months
ago and it's been non-stop ever since. He's applying to his first
choice college this weekend as the early admission deadline is coming
up. When I was in treatment and laying in the recliner all the time,
seeing him through to this point was all I wanted. It's nice to know
that we've made it this far. I sort of feel like I can almost breathe
a little easier knowing that he's almost to adulthood - not really
grown up, but kind of like I at least finished this part of my
parenting job.

Congrats to Psych & the upcoming nuptials and move -don't forget to
share a pic of the big day! I think I saw you on FD page at a kayaing
camp. Was that you? Tell us about kayaking after climbing.

I saw great photo of Bama and his new bride taken by Kale. All were
looking well and Kale just recently took a great "girls trip" w/ her
mom and daugther I think. Looked like fun.

On the first day of Fall, hope to hear from everyone w/ their news -
good and bad; just to say hello, etc.

Love, MILF

Keep in mind Slash, boys will be boys...here is my 6yo Cal with his two
broken arms, even that can't wipe the smile off his face.
Happened at a friend's wedding 2 weeks ago.
Thanks MILF for the updates.
Sending good energy to everyone!
Love, Again
