Hey gang. Below is an update on Fluff:

My husband & I drove to Kentucky yesterday (Sunday) and visited with
Fluff & his parents. Needless to say I'm very glad his mom called & I
feel very blessed to have seen him...

That being said, our friend and fellow climber is not doing well. I
cannot tell you how much my heart breaks for him and the climber I
knew in Colorado.

His mom and dad read him the letters, cards, & FB posts that are sent
his way. I showed him pictures of our trip and he shook his head 'yes'
when needed (only once did he do this) and squeezed my hand when
asked. He kept playing with my fingers which I thought was sweet -
kind of his way of saying "I know you guys are here??" Overall he was
pretty unresponsive, as his mom had warned me he would be, but he knew
we were there.

I wish I could take all of this from him as I saw pictures and heard
stories of how active and loved he is. People literally are coming
from all over to see him...

Wish we could all reunite for one big FD hug. Please know I think of
you guys everyday.

Hugs,
Clover

Hi Clover,

Thanks for the update on Fluff. I am so terribly sad and upset about
what is happening to him. I remember how hard he fought his name and
how you guys let him have Fluff instead of his true name, Fluffer!! I
also remember when he was describing all the new moves he was going to
try on the rock that our fearless guides had taught him. He sure was
determined. What a great week we had. You guys were such an incredible
bunch.

How is everyone else doing? Updates please. It makes me feel better.

Clover and Sprouts: I had my first Christmas tree in my own home this
year and front and centre was my little climber. Good memories!!
Thanks so much.

Take care everyone and keep smiling. Fluffer will know you are.

Hey! I am pretty good. On the same chemo I started on when I was released from hospital last year. Liver values normal and tumor markers keep dropping - one is even in the normal range. I can walk and take care of myself now, which I couldn't do when I was discharged last summer. Cory and I actually went to the NFC game last weekend in San Francisco. He is a die hard 9ers fan. It was a last minute decision to go and we flew in late Friday night and out early Monday morning. So I am, needless to say, exhausted. But it was a lot of fun, we had a great time!! Hope everyone is doing well!

Hope you guys had a good trip to SF.   Next time drop me a line!
