encouraging in the last few days, including her husband's most recent
post of Aug. 8, taken after she returned home from the hospital, which
includes a picture of the two of them smiling, along with the note:
"In wheel chair for first time!!!! This girl is making leaps and
bounds in just a few days!!!" When she was in the hospital, there were
a lot more update posts from her husband and one of their friends in
particular, so I take the decreased updates as a sign that things are
still improving and going well.
Fluff's full name is Robert Mahan, isn't it? His last several hundred
Facebook posts were birthday well-wishers, but there were two of note
before those which perhaps speak to his health:
"Hello Rob How you doing? Long time no talk. I hope your health is
going better! Take car my friend." --August 7 at 4:59pm
"Thinking about you, sorry we got cut off the other day. Will try to
call you again sometime this week. Till then sending all my love and
great energy xx love you" --August 2 at 4:20am (so at least we know
he was reachable b phone a week ago)
If anyone finds out more please keep the rest of us posted.

Again--I want nothing more than to rock climb again in Estes this September....if my health allows and my class schedule allows--braving the return to my Master's in Food Studies program on Aug. 29th while on this rough three chemo regimen but I refuse to let the weak little C word dictate the path my life takes unless it is to bring me into more beautiful spaces/challenges such as FD, you all, and Estes Park, CO :-)) Spike, didn't even realize I could sign up....but once again, so unsure if I can swing it......thinking.....
