November always caused me to reflect on what I'm thankful for and
while I was thinking about that all of you came to mind. So thankful
for my FD family. So check-in, or as they say "Call Your Mom "- in
this Camp FD case, "email your MILF"
Love to you all,
MILF
P.S. - Slash, can we see that baby again before he goes to school?? A
photo please!
OMG! Congrats Bama....your going to be an awesome Dad!
Howdy FD53!!
Fall update for me? Hmmm....nothing exciting really. I received a "all clear" check-up last month which has made me breathe easier. Seems every time I go for a check-up someone I took chemo with is back in b/c their cancer has returned. Needless to say I go to these check-ups with a lump in my throat and a heavy heart. I'm pleased to announce that I don't have to go back until January - cancer free holiday season, WOOT!
Work keeps me busy. Four murder trials, a child-rape trial, and lots of criminal cases in between and I've been one busy chic. Working late and desperate for sleep has been my mantra. As I say, never a dull moment in the criminal court world!
Papa Bama - congratulations on the baby news! So excited for you and Mata. Can't wait to hear updates from you during the coming months :)
Milf - Hugs your way as your son is about to graduate. He will always need his momma and, his momma's wallet :)
So wish it was possible to meet up with all of you. I think of sweet Shotgun nearly every day (I'm tearing up now just typing her name). I know so many in our group are struggling with cancer and it's viciousness and I do nothing but send prayers, hugs, and tons of FD love your way...
I'm with Milf, Slash, baby pictures please! - preferably one of his cute baby toes :-)
Hugs to each,
Clover
BTW, I thought working in family law was crazy...sounds like your
criminal docket has my caseload beat!
Great idea Bama!
“Every time we eat, we endorse the entire system that brings the food to our plate. If we chose industrial, commercialized food, we must acknowledge the direct connection between that “Great Value” cheapness and factory farms, polluted streams and rampant food safety violations. When we consciously choose sustainably, ethically produced foods for our family's weekly menu, we are casting our vote for clean family farms, cows on grass, a more diverse, more sustainable, healthier food system. We truly can make a difference!”
