i like the lowercase format in aliya's logos. that conveys a couple of meanings: chilled out, young etc

i also like the sequence in aliya's words - barcamp first and kashmir after.

the chinar leaf on aliya's log, however, looks vampirish :)

in terms of art icons, a logo looks better if there is just one icon, not multiple.

Important clarification for Non-Kashmiri members.
Shikara(the boat) has a very important significance in Kashmiri
Culture and History. A lot more than the maple leaf.
(Hey Inam, before you say you are biased, remember, I was the one who
suggested using the maple leaf idea. Then Aliya came up with the
shikara in the logo and I think it signifies kashmir much better than
a maple leaf, which signifies Cananda globallay)
