I hope that you are either basking in the glorious aftermath of a
wonderfully well-run camp or anxiously anticipating the awesomeness
that will be your up and coming camp!
I wanted to touch base with everyone about the possibility of a
national debrief session in Kigali sometime in January. I know this
was mentioned during the TOT weekend, but I wanted to throw it out
there that Jake and I are very interested in trying to get this set
up. I know that you Ed volunteers will be starting school again in
January, but we could always do it over a weekend again.
I’m especially interested in hearing from you all as the 17 Health 3
volunteers will be the only PCVs with camp experience left to carry
the torch for coming years. Plus, it would be lovely to see all your
beautiful, smiling faces again.
Let me know what people are thinking about this!
Hope you are having a great start to the week!

Sorry for the delay, I was intending to send this email out sooner.
Senior staff have been notified and according to the doodle responses,
the best date for all is the weekend of February 4th and 5th. As long
as I don't hear a "No" from PC or an overwhelming objection from those
involved, plan on coming to Kigali that weekend.
Given the timing of Ed 2's COS and the time camps normally take place,
it would be great if those from Ed 2 who participated in the TOT could
come with someone from their region who is interested in spearheading
the 2012 camp. That way everyone will be prepped and ready to go for
next year!
I hope you all had a great holiday season and are enjoying this glorious sun!
Hope to see you all on the 4th.
Best,
Whitney
How do we feel about doing this on Sunday the 5th gusa?
I think if we are focused then it should be possible to fit everything
in. That Saturday is the first week for the Judges training program
and a number of us will be either teaching or attending opening
ceremonies. I have talked to a few people and it sounds like Sunday
should work but I want to hear from the larger group! What do you
think?
Do we need two days or is Sunday enough? If we think both days are
necessary we can work around the Judges program for sure! Just let me
know!
Holla!

I believe we should be able to fit everything into a single day. I am
currently working on the agenda, but my thought is if we stay focused
and on topic, it shouldn't be a problem.
Also, if you could let me know who is planning on coming to the
debrief, that would be great. I will plan on sending an email to PMs
and Assistant PMs with the names of those attending - much like what
was done at the TOT.
Also, in my previous email I forgot to mention that GLOW has acquired
space to store materials for future camps. If you have something you
would like to store, please plan on bringing it with you on the 5th.
Talk to you soon,
Whitney
