I am unable to install on ubuntu 22.04

The shared library, libv8.so.3.14.5 is not installed and cannot be installed using apt.

Mr Wright I got Camotics to run on Linux Mint 21 after experiencing some of the same lib dependency problems you ran into. I learned that libv8 is now called libnode - I installed both libnode and libnode-dev

I also needed libssl1.1, wherein I used the "wget" terminal command to grab a specific package, and then used the "dpkg" command to make an installable. Currently working in Linux Mint 21.3 after addressing those lib problems. Some of the doc on the camotics website has not been updated to reflect this.

I'm a FreeCAD user, and after recommend by sliptonic in this video, to test it, when a install Camotics 1.2 for Linux/Debian from https://camotics.org/download.html, and install it following Debian steps, in Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS, i'va the following error when run it:

• camotics: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.1.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

My solution was to install shared libssl 1.1 version as mentioned in this post with similar problem but with other app (mongo-db):

• wget http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/o/openssl/libssl1.1_1.1.1f-1ubuntu2_amd64.deb
• sudo dpkg -i libssl1.1_1.1.1f-1ubuntu2_amd64.deb

Then Camotics run ok :)
