Camotics not opening in Linux Mint 19

The launcher seems to be created when Camotics is installed but simply does not work and I cannot find the executable file to launch manually.

Try running:

camotics

from the command line.  Probably a missing library.  If it's missing v8 try installing "libv8-dev".

Running camotics in terminal suggests the libqt5websockets5 library is absent.
Looking at the distribution of libqt5websockets5 suggests that there may be other missing dependencies too.
I used Synaptic Package Manager to install both libqt5websockets5-dev and libqt5websockets5 and Camotics now seems to be working well.
